Qian Yufen, Chief Physician and Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, specializes in various fixed orthodontic techniques and clear aligner therapy; light-force orthodontic treatment for children and adolescents; aesthetic orthodontic treatment for adults; and periodontal health-focused care.

Biography

For many years, Director Qian has worked on the clinical frontline and has profound expertise in orthodontics. She is highly experienced in managing a wide range of cases and strives for perfection, enjoying an excellent reputation among peers and patients. Meanwhile, Director Qian has long been continuously engaged in scientific research and teaching, and has gradually established a comprehensive clinical diagnostic and treatment system. She focuses on the aesthetics and harmony of patients' facial and dental features and pursues healthy and stable long-term outcomes.

From 1995 to 2005, pursued advanced training in Tucson, USA, and visited Korea multiple times for academic exchanges to master the Tweed-Merrifield technique;
Received a doctoral degree (by thesis) from Osaka Dental University in 2011.
